GUIDANCE ON WORKING IN-HOUSE

If you are new to working in-house, you're probably looking for some guidance. In-house lawyers are subject to the same basic rules that all solicitors operate under, but looking after one client entails practical differences and exemptions from some of the general rules and may also attract extra restrictions.

The ILG Guide for In-House Lawyers highlights practical and ethical issues you are likely to encounter in your role as an in-house lawyer, and things you need to be aware of.

If you have any further queries please contact the ILG Group Secretary or the Society's Director of Professional Practice.
