Insolvency Code of Ethics
A new Insolvency
Code of Ethics has been agreed by all the Recognised Professional Bodies under the Insolvency Act 1986.The Law Society of Scotland is such a Recognised Professional Body and licenses Scottish Solicitors who are insolvency practitioners under the 1986 Act. This new Code of Ethics only applies to these insolvency practitioners and the Code will come into force on 1st January 2009.The Society's Council approved the Code at is meeting on Friday 26th September 2008.
