General information

This is the area that provides some general information regarding UK legislation in relation to equality and diversity. The legislation applicable to equality and diversity has been consolidated and revised by the Equality Act 2010. The majority of this Act came into force on 1 October 2010. The UK Government is considering how the rest of the Act can be implemented in the best way for business.
