The Law Society of Scotland is the professional body for over 11,000 Scottish solicitors. The Society’s Professional Practice Team provide high quality advice and guidance to members on professional conduct, ethics and the Society’s Practice Rules and Guidance. This is achieved by delivering a balanced package of proactive advice, information and reactive call handling and ensuring high standards of support for members. The team will also contribute to the creation of commercial services to add value to members and increase the Society’s revenue to ensure that we keep mandatory member costs to a minimum.
The team are looking for an inspirational individual, who must be a Scottish Solicitor, with a current practising certificate and at least 3 years’ PQE, who can help members and their firms innovate and grow. The post requires experience in practice of residential property work. The candidate will also have a current knowledge of the Society’s Practice Rules and Guidance.
We are seeking passionate individuals who must be innovative, self –motivating, organised and have a strong grasp of commercial drivers. They should have excellent verbal and written communication skills as they will be acting as brand ambassadors for the Society. Training and support is available for the successful candidates.
