Job Description

The Law Society of Scotland has recently published its new strategy, Leading Legal Excellence. Through this strategy, the legal policy team aims to communicate the views of our members and the clients they serve and to influence the creation of a fairer and more just society by being an international centre of excellence in thought leadership.

The Education, Training and Qualifications team has responsibility for the regulatory functions relating to oversight of traineeships; setting education and training policy and running a programme of schools outreach and new lawyer engagement.

Candidates must have previous office experience. Key attributes include pleasant telephone manner, competency in Microsoft Office suite, and a flexible approach including the ability to prioritise work yet still pay attention to detail. A team player with excellent customer service skills is sought.
