The Diploma is very different from the LLB and students will find they are in classes much more than during their undergraduate/accelerated degree. Much of the teaching is carried out by solicitors and the content is highly practical and skills-based.
During the Diploma, we'd definitely recommend you to sign up as a student associate of the Law Society. There's loads of careers advice we offer to students, which will really benefit you in your search for a traineeship or for any work experience placements.
Once you're signed up, there are also lots of ways you can get involved with us, to boost your confidence, variety of experience and skills. We would also recommend signing up to receive news and details of upcoming events from the Law Society.
Do you have a traineeship secured already? Why not get organised in advance and read about applying for an entrance certificate.
