appeals
This consultation paper seeks comments on proposed changes to
the planning appeal system in Scotland. The government's proposals
are intended to make the process for challenging planning decisions
more efficient without reducing the high quality of determination
provided under present arrangements.
Scottish historic environment policy (SHEP) consultation on the
marine historic environment
This draft Scottish historic environment policy paper invites
views on Scottish ministers' policies for the marine historic
environment. It also sets out for consultation Scottish ministers'
proposals for new legislation to protect the marine historic
environment in Scotland.
Scottish Government request for information on good neighbour
agreements
This was not a formal consultation but rather a request for
comments prior to a consultation which is scheduled for February
2009 on draft regulations relating to good neighbour agreements.
The Scottish Government's website contains information regarding
the progress of implementation of the Planning etc (Scotland)
Act 2006.
Scottish Government discussion paper on the future of
housing in Scotland
This paper sets out proposals to improve Scotland's housing,
taking into account changes in aspiration and demand for
housing, and the need to sustain safe and strong communities across
Scotland.
