or short term contract work can register with the Locum Register by

online, free of charge and on that site, can upload and
maintain their own details and CV.
Candidates lodging their details with
lawscotjobs may choose whether to make their contact details and CV
directly available to recruiters and if so, this information can
then be automatically searched by recruiters and interested
firms.
Recruiters who are sole practitioners
may also advertise locum posts which they have available, free of
charge on lawscotjobs.
In order to maintain the integrity and currency of the list of
individuals on the Society's Locum Register, candidates are
requested to update their availability to accept locum or short
term contract posts regularly.
Where no updates are uploaded by an individual for a period of
six months, their entry may automatically be deleted, to ensure the
currency of the information on the site.
