We wish to be able to communicate with new lawyers directly, in the same way we have always communicated with qualified solicitors who are our members. We have historically relied on the support of universities, and training firms/organisations, to pass on information to LLB students, Diploma students, and trainee solicitors. It has also been a challenge for us to make contact with new lawyers who are in between stages.

By completing this form and "opting in" to receive emails from us, we can assist you directly during the various stages of being a "new lawyer" in Scotland. You can still contact us directly at newlawyers@lawscot.org.uk, but by registering your details with us you are helping the Society to be proactive in supporting you.
