Traineeship and Summer Placement recruitment website
The Law Society is delighted to announce it has recently launched a recruitment website for traineeships and summer placements. The site is free for job hunters and recruiters to use and the Society will continue to encourage training organisations to use the site. Visit www.lawscotjobs.co.uk/traineeships
The Society recently hosted three Alternative Careers Seminars in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen. A range of speakers from different professions outlined their career paths and how law has been of benefit to them in a career outwith the legal profession. Please see the completed job study questionnaires from the recent careers seminars on the right hand side of the page. The speakers included:

CV, Interviewing and Networking Seminars
The Society are running short seminars on CV skills, interviewing skills and tips for successful networking. These will be run via WebEx, meaning you can attend from your home or office. This is being held on 9th March 2010. Further details can be found here.
