The Anniversary Essay Competition 2009
60th anniversary of the Society - 10th anniversary of the Scottish Parliament
In academic session 2008/2009, the Law Society of Scotland and the Scottish Parliament worked in partnership to gather the views of the next generation of lawyers and politicians in Scotland. We asked the following question:
"How can lawyers in Scotland contribute to the continued success of the work of the Scottish Parliament?"
Well done to all those that entered. The winning entry was by Clare McKinlay a third year law student at the University of Glasgow. Congratulations to Clare who has won a three week paid work placement courtesy of the Scottish Parliament and £500 cash prize courtesy of the Society.
