Neil Amner
Neil is known for his meticulous but pragmatic approach and for being solution orientated as well as a tenacious negotiator.
His transport practice covers contractual and regulatory aspects of rail (passenger and freight), tram, roads (including freight transport), bus / coach, aviation, ferry and short sea shipping and harbours operational and infrastructure matters. Neil is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (UK) and he acts as counsel to European Freight & Logistics Leaders Forum. He’s a member of the Rail Freight Group, the European Aviation Law Association and is the company secretary and director of the Scottish Maritime Cluster.
Neil’s environmental law practice covers waste management, contaminated land and consenting issues. He’s also a member of the Law Society of Scotland’s Environmental Law Sub-Committee.
Neil’s profile in public life includes being a board member of the Scottish Chambers of Commerce, where he also a member of its Economic Advisory Group. He is a Past President of Glasgow Chamber of Commerce.
