We're recruiting

We are looking for two additional members of the LawscotTech Advisory Board. The role of the Board is to provide direction, ideas and support to our executive team, agree strategy and propose concepts. You may be a solicitor, law firm employee, IT specialist, paralegal or working elsewhere in the Scottish legal services eco-system. You do not need to be a technical expert or a technology law specialist, all we ask is that you have a true passion for legal technology innovation, are able to adopt our values and believe in the collaborative model we are championing.

The advisory board meets monthly.

Our ambition

Our ambition for LawscotTech is to stimulate legal technology innovation in Scotland which will deliver practical benefits for those working in the justice and legal sectors, and their clients. While at a practical level we are looking at delivering new technology, identifying what exists and bringing in technology from other sectors, we also want to inspire the profession to be curious and inquisitive about technology rather than fearing it. To achieve that aim we will adopt a collaborative model - bringing technology, commerce, finance, industry, government and overseas bodies together with the profession, whether they are solicitors in large city based firms or small firms in rural areas.
