Tilney is proud to be a strategic partner of the Law Society of Scotland. We are an award-winning financial planning and investment company that looks after more than £23 billion of client assets on behalf of private individuals, families, charities, trusts, pensions and companies.
If your client has a goal such as saving for retirement or passing on wealth, or they need financial advice following a divorce or personal injury settlement, our financial planners can help. We have one of the largest and most experienced teams in the UK, meaning that wherever you are in Scotland, one of our local financial planners can provide expert advice.
We use specialist cashflow modelling software to forecast a client’s future finances, showing them in real time how much money they could have and whether they’re on track to achieve their goals. Using cashflow modelling can help to answer common client queries such as ‘will I have enough money in later life?’ and ‘at what age will I realistically be able to retire?’
At Tilney, our financial planners are also highly experienced in advising clients who are considering exiting their business. We can help them to transfer their business wealth into personal wealth or advise them on business succession.
We have a number of investment services and can cater for clients with different investment objectives and attitudes to risk. We work with clients from across the wealth spectrum and at all stages of life and have no minimum initial investment size.
Your client may want our investment managers to make all the day-to-day decisions for them, deciding which investments to buy (or sell), how much to invest and when to do so. If they prefer to make their own decisions, our investment advisers can give them expert advice on investments suited to their individual circumstances and attitude to risk. Alternatively, our Transactional Advisory Investment Service is designed for clients who value input from an expert investment adviser on individual trades.
Our two-expert approach
Our financial planners often work hand-in-hand with our investment specialists. We believe that with two specialists working together our clients get a much better outcome. However, we are equally comfortable working with our clients’ existing IFAs or investment advisers. This means that clients who only require an investment or financial planning service in isolation can still take advantage of our expertise.
At Tilney, your clients’ personal wealth is our personal responsibility. To learn more about how we work with clients, visit tilney.co.uk
