According to recent Scottish Government figures, there are in excess of 300,000 small and medium-sized enterprises in Scotland, providing around 1.2 million jobs. This forms a significant part of the economy, distributed all over the country, but these businesses do not often have the capability to handle their own tax issues. This can greatly inhibit development, with matters such as recruitment or acquiring property needlessly complicated.

The Scottish legal profession plays a valuable role in supporting these small businesses, and this seminar focusing on the fundamental tax issues affecting small business, will help ensure that you are prepared to advise your clients on these key matters.

This seminar is one of a two part introduction to tax series, examining key aspects of tax law in detail. Click here to view the our private client seminar
