The sentencing young people guideline was approved by the High Court of Justiciary on 09 November 2021 and will come into effect on 26 January 2022. Recognising the greater capacity for change, the guideline puts rehabilitation at the heart of sentencing young people. Want to understand what this means for your clients? Attend our Introduction to Sentencing Young People Guideline Webinar for authoritative guidance from our expert speakers.

This seminar is relevant for criminal defence solicitors or those who have a general interest in the justice system and is free to attend for all Law Society of Scotland members. Delegates do not need to have any prior knowledge to attend.
