The seminar will provide a practical introduction to cyber security and how to protect your firm.

One of the best ways to protect yourself online is choosing good, strong password for every account. This seminar will show some of the most common ways that passwords are revealed/broken and give you tips on how to choose a strong password and remember them.

This presentation will be available for you to deliver these messages to other colleagues. You will have access the PowerPoint presentation, including presenter notes. It is encouraged that you share what you learn with others.

    Workplace Learning Coordinator, Scottish Government (Cyber Resilience Unit)

    Kirstie Steele is a digital workshop leader, helping people develop digital skills in a fun and creative environment.

    Kirstie has delivered Cyber Security workshops to hundreds of people of all age groups, across Scotland and internationally. Last year, she joined the Cyber Resilience Unit in the Scottish Government as Workplace Learning Coordinator. This role is to increase staff training and awareness on Cyber Security to all workers across Scotland. She is also a volunteer mentor at Coderdojo Scotland, a network of free coding clubs for young people, for over 6 years.
