Duncan Robertson
Having graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in politics, I started my career within political communications before moving on to strategy and corporate communications within the investment and legal sectors. Whilst there, I worked with a range of clients across the globe – including the majority of Magic Circle law firms, leading financial institutions and other regulated sectors – and on major events such as the 2014 Scottish independence referendum and Brexit campaign. I then went on to lead on Marketing and Communications as part of the leadership team at the world’s largest free business accelerator, Entrepreneurial Spark, as the business scaled across the UK in partnership with RBS, KPMG, Dell EMC, Pinsent Masons and Harper Macleod.
More recently, I work across RBS/NatWest Group’s growing portfolio of digital standalone ventures with a focus on solving SME customer painpoints and as part of the bank’s strategy to proactively lean in to the challenges presented by disruptors to the market.
