Research

Our research team undertakes and commissions research into issues that affect our members, the wider legal profession and those who engage with it.

The team consists of Alan McCreadie, Head of Research and Nicola Whiteford, Research Executive.

Please contact us if you would like to discuss any of our research or would like to collaborate with us on future projects.

Current research and consultation

We are working with Ipsos MORI to carry out research with our members.

The research takes the form of a telephone interview and lasts for approximately 15-20 minutes. We ask members for their views on a range of subjects including how they think we could improve the service we provide to them as their professional body.

The research is carried out with a sample of 500 members. Within the context of ensuring that there is sufficient representation from big firm, high street, trainees, inhouse and legal aid practitioners, the sample is randomly selected each year.

We know that our members are busy and very much appreciate you having taken the time to speak to our researchers.
