Domhnall Dods

With 32 years of experience, 25 of them in the telecoms industry, Domhnall is one of the UK’s leading telecoms lawyers. He joined Scottish Telecom (the telecoms spin off from Scottish Power plc) as Head of Regulatory Affairs in 1996. In 2009 he returned to private legal practice with Towerhouse LLP advising clients in the UK, Ireland, Canada and the Netherlands on commercial contracts, regulatory disputes, data protection, telecoms regulation and wayleaves. He worked on the reform of the Electronic Communications Code in 2016 and again in 2017. He joined CityFibre’s regulatory team in 2019. 

A graduate of the University of Aberdeen, he is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, a mentor on the Law Society of Scotland's mentoring programme and a member of the Society's Privacy Law Committee.
