Meet the Policy team
One of the Policy Team's key functions is to help ensure that new laws or changes to existing ones are clear and will work in practice. We work closely with our network of over 30 policy committees, sub-committees and working groups on behalf of the profession and the public to improve the law and legal system in Scotland.
Part of this process involves commenting on consultations from the Scottish Government, Scottish Parliament, UK Parliament, Scottish Law Commission and other agencies and you can find out more about this work on our website.
