Aims & functions of the committee
Review the annual pay increase for members of the Senior Leadership Team, including the CEO;
Review the annual pay increase for compensated volunteer positions, including Office Bearers, Board members, Conveners and any other compensated committee member positions.
- Report to the Board on decisions taken by way of sharing minutes to provide information and oversight.
- To ensure that remuneration decisions are made fairly and in accordance with the Society’s pay practices and consider pay principles for the organisation in determining SLT remuneration.
- To maintain appropriate renumeration to attract and retain high performing members of the Society’s Senior Leadership Team.
- To ensure renumeration decisions are consistent with the Society’s values, equality and diversity principles, and relevant employment legislation.
- To maintain confidentiality and integrity in all deliberations and decisions.
