Garry Brotherson
At 19 years of age Garry Brotherston was charged and convicted of murder, for which he received a life sentence. He served 11 years in prison and was released in 2005 on life licence. During his time in prison, he attended Prison Fellowship and chaplaincy meetings, which led to him becoming a Christian. Upon release Garry worked with various church and Christian organisations, and he is now the minister at Bishopbriggs Free Church of Scotland, where he has been the last nine years. He is married to Debbie and they have four daughters.
