I really enjoyed the diverse range of speakers at the conference. The 'rule of law' presentation by Michelle Behnke and 'Why what we do matters' by Judge Victoria Pratt were both very interesting and I found them to be inspiring speakers.

I thought the session on "AI in Your Practice" was brilliant! A very interesting, engaging and thought-provoking session. There is a real focus on AI in the industry (both the opportunities it presents and the potential risks) and the points raised in this panel discussion are relevant to both in-house and private practice legal teams.
I found the conference highly relevant to the evolving needs of the legal profession. The diversity of perspectives from across industries made the sessions both enriching and comprehensive, particularly the insights into techno-legal tools transforming legal practice. The fast-paced format kept the discussions focused and engaging, though I felt a few extended case studies in future editions could add even greater depth. Overall, it was a thoughtfully curated, forward-looking event that inspired reflection on how law and technology are converging to shape our shared future.

I thought the annual conference was excellent and surpassed all expectations. This was my first time attending and I found all of the speakers interesting and valuable to my learning and understanding of the Scottish legal sector and wider profession. I also found the stalls in the exhibition area very good and every person was approachable and friendly.

The Law Society's Annual Conference is a must attend event for me each year.

Taking a whole day out from the office has the potential to be wasteful of time, but these events organised by the Law Society of Scotland always make one feel that they have been well worth the time devoted to attending them: the Society's events are invariably informative and enjoyable experiences.
