Join us in October for our AWI, Guardianship and Elder Client Conference, 2025.
Our expert speakers will explore key recommendations from their practice and research with adults with incapacity or where capacity is in question. Topics to be covered include intervention orders and guardianship, particularly cross-border issues that have arisen in recent caselaw. We will consider assisted decision-making with a focus on initiative models, as well as deprivation of liberty following Aberdeenshire Council v SF [2024] and, Argyll and Bute Council v RF [2025]. Find out more about capacity assessments with vulnerable adults, and good practice when working with someone living with or facing dementia.
We’ll consider good practice in will drafting, elder client care, and when and how concerns relating to Powers of Attorney should be raised.
The conference will also give you the opportunity to engage with expert speakers through our Q&A to discuss recent key developments throughout. To attend, book your place now!

Testimonials
I thought the whole two days were great. It was clear the speakers had put in SO much preparation time and both chairs were great.
Found each of the topics interesting, varied and informative. The speakers were all very engaging and clearly had a passion for their individual area of expertise. Really enjoyed my morning.
