97 images from inside the Law Society of Scotland's Kelvingrove black tie gala

It was a glittering night of celebration and reflection when more than 250 guests gathered at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum for the Law Society of Scotland's annual gala dinner.
Piped into the Glasgow's inimitable baroque red sandstone institution, figures from across Scotland's legal profession gathered to hear of the success of the Society, and of the remarkable career of the city's Sheriff Principal, Aisha Anwar.
Guests mingled and explored the halls of Kelvingrove, taking in artworks including Salvador Dali's Christ of Saint John of the Cross.
Speeches came from outgoing Society CEO Dianne McGiffen (in her final act in the job, no less), Society President Susan Murray, her soon-to-be successor Pat Thom and Sheriff Principal Anwar.
All the speakers reflected on the journeys their careers had brought them on, and of their hope for the future of the profession.
Aisha Anwar, in the keynote address, spoke of her upbringing as one of eight girls, of her personal understanding of justice and fairness and of a legal profession open to all.
A photographer joined guests throughout the night to capture moments from the speeches and celebrations.
