Experienced in court? This is your invitation to shape how Civil Online works

The Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service are excited to announce an upcoming initiative that will enable solicitors to raise and defend cases in both the Court of Session and Sheriff Courts through Civil Online.

To make sure that service works for you and your processes, we are looking for individuals to share their current experiences with us.

Your expertise and experience are crucial to the success of this work.

Why Participate?

Your feedback will directly impact the development and refinement of the Civil Online service.

Who Should Apply?

To ensure we make a service that works for everyone, we are looking for solicitors and legal professionals with experience in the following areas:

  • Court of Session – Petitions, Personal Injury, Ordinary, Family, Commercial
  • Sheriff Court – Dative Petitions, Adults with Incapacity, Bankruptcy, Company Insolvency and any other Summary Application lodged with the Sheriff Court.

How to Apply?

 Please submit your note of interest to civilonlinelab@scotcourts.gov.uk by 18 July 2025.
