CAESAR & HOWIE, Bathgate and elsewhere wishes to announce Martin Thomas Donnelly has been assumed as a partner as at 1st January 2024. 

KEOGHS, has announced Laurie Traynor and Zoe Strong, previously from Ince & Co and Weightmans respectively, as partners.

RTA LAW LLP, has announced staff changes. Zara Jones, previously a senior solicitor has been promoted to the position of associate. Jack Adair has qualified as a solicitor. James Stevenson joins as a trainee solicitor. 

CROWN OFFICE AND PROCURATOR FISCAL SERVICE (COPFS), announces John Logue as crown agent and COPFS chief executive.

LINDSAYS, announces Anelia Black, senior solicitor has joined the firm.

WRIGHT, JOHNSTON & MACKENZIE, have announced a host of appointments and promotions across the business.

In Glasgow, Leah McGibbon joins the firm as a solicitor specialising in energy and commercial property alongside CRG legal administrator Natalie Murphy. Nicola McGorm and Alex Mudie have also been promoted to associates. 

Linda Freeman, in the Dunblane office has been brought in as an executry paralegal, while Julie McMahon joins as a senior associate working predominantly in private client practice.

In Inverness, Lee-Ann Gibson has joined the Highlands team as an executry conveyancing trainee paralegal, working in private client law.

THORNTONS, makes ten appointments for first Inverness office.

Paul Adams and John Smart as partners for its first office in Inverness alongside a further eight appointments. The new team joins from Wright, Johnston and Mackenzie. 

Both Paul Adams, who is experienced in planning law, and John Smart are commercial property partners. They will be joined by legal directors Yasmin Myles and Elisa Miller, paralegal Jennifer Callaghan and legal administrator Lucy Bird, all specialising in commercial real estate. Residential property associate Jenna Gallacher and residential conveyancing senior paralegal Hazel McGillivray also join Thorntons in Inverness alongside private client executry manager Anna MacLeod-Adams and trainee executry manager Krysty Steele.

GILSON GRAY, has announced Findlay Anderson as new head of its corporate division.

ANDERSON STRATHERN, announce new office location for Edinburgh. 58 Morrison Street, Edinburgh, EH3 8BP.

BTO, Lindsay MacNeill, Bruce Battersby, Kirsty McGuinness and Jill Harris.

LEDINGHAM CHALMERS, has filled three senior roles in Aberdeen and Edinburgh as part of its nationwide growth plans. Partner Mike Morrice joined the commercial property team, Gary Hunt is Head of HR and Coral Bain, joined in the newly created pan-Scotland head of risk and compliance role.

COMMITTEE AND SUB-COMMITTEE APPOINTMENTS, Ahsan Mustafa has been appointed as a solicitor member of the Law Society of Scotland's Consumer Law sub-committee. 

 

 

 

GEBBIE & WILSON LLP, Strathaven is delighted to announce the appointment of Louise Arthur, Catherine Black and Eva Li as Partners with effect from 1st January 2024.
