UNIVERSITY OF STRATHCLYDE, announce that two Diploma students have won the Scottish finals of the International Negotiation Competition, which were held at Robert Gordon University. Makki Tahir and Mark Cobain will be heading to the International Finals in Brazil in July.

BTO, has announced that Lindsay McNeill now has extended rights of audience to appear in the High Court and the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council.

Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS), has announced that Mohammed Hamza Sarwar now has extended rights of audience to appear in the High Court and the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council.

TLT, has announced that Ainslie Benzie has been promoted to Partner, after joining in 2020 as legal director.

RELATIONSHIPS SCOTLAND, has announced that Janie Law, will be leaving legal practice to take up the post as Head of Professional Practice for mediation. Janie was one of the founding partners and latterly consultant at Family Law Matters Scotland LLP.

JONES WHYTE, has announced Roisin Gunn, Kiera Lambie, Ryan Morton, Rebecca Devine, from the private client department have all been promoted to associate solicitor.

JONES WHYTE, has announced that Tanya Bagri and John Bayne in the personal injury department, have been promoted to the position of associate solicitor.

JONES WHYTE, has announced that Chloe Cairns and Steven Bain have both been promoted to the role of senior solicitor in the family department.

GILSON GRAY, has announced that Cat McGarrell has joined following nine years at Thompsons Solicitors.

INKSTERS SOLICITORS, has announced that Martin Burns has joined as a consultant. This follows Martin's 30 years' experience as a solicitor, 15 of which as sole practitioner at Bathgate Family Law Practice.

New Summary Sheriffs appointed - His Majesty The King has appointed Collette Gallagher, Anna Reid, Joseph Stewart, Lorna Anderson, Clare Arias, Sean Lynch, Angela Farrell, Edward Gilroy, Maria Kicinski, Mark Allan, Neil Kinnear, Clair McLachlan and Mark O’Hanlon to the office of summary sheriff, on the recommendation of the first minister.
