Scullion LAW and Home Start celebrate ongoing support for families

25th October 2024

The Family Law team at Scullion LAW recently celebrated their ongoing partnership with Home-Start Glasgow North and North Lanarkshire (HSGNNL), highlighting their continuous support and donations aimed at aiding families in need.

Scullion LAW, known for its caring and community-focused approach, welcomed representatives from Home-Start GNNL to their Hamilton office. Since 2021, the Family Law team has raised £2,566, which they presented during their visit. They have also committed to continuing their support by pledging £1 from every invoice to this worthy cause. This visit provided a meaningful opportunity for the charity to connect with the award-winning Family Law team behind these generous contributions and ongoing voluntary efforts.

Judith Higson, Head of Family Law, expressed her admiration for Home-Start GNNL efforts: “It was wonderful to hear more about the valuable work Home Start does and the difference the donations make to families going through challenging times. We often help families through incredibly difficult and upsetting times, be it separation, divorce, or childcare arrangements. However, this is such a good way to give back to families in our local community and allow them to flourish.”

Home-Start GNNL, a leading charity supporting families with young children facing difficulties, has greatly benefited from Scullion LAW’s contributions. Susan H Walsh OBE, Home- Start Chair, shared her gratitude: “We give a heartfelt thanks to everyone at Scullion LAW for the generous support given to us over the last few years. Whether it was time or money, the contribution made has allowed us to support so many more children and their families just when they needed help most. We know there are many excellent charities out there making a difference to people’s lives. We’re extremely grateful to Scullion LAW for choosing to support Home-Start.”

In addition to their charitable work, Scullion LAW is celebrated for its top-rated Family Law services. The team is dedicated to providing expert advice and support on matters such as separation, divorce, and child maintenance, ensuring that clients receive compassionate and professional guidance during challenging times. Their commitment to excellence has earned them numerous accolades and a reputation as one of the leading Family Law firms in Scotland.

Nikki O’Hara, Home-Start Director, added: “Scullion LAW are a great charity partner and we are delighted with their ongoing support, which has helped us support families in many ways, like extending group sessions and providing sensory equipment. The help from the Family Law team in improving our garden space through hands on support and financial contribution has been very welcomed enabling families to enjoy and learn in a safe and welcoming outdoor space.”
