I, NIGEL A ROSS, Sheriff Principal of Lothian and Borders, in virtue of the power conferred upon me by Section 8 of the Criminal Procedure (Scotland) Act 1995 and Section 28(1) of the Courts Reform (Scotland) Act 2014, HEREBY prescribe in respect of criminal business in the Sheriff and Justice of the Peace Court at Edinburgh and in respect of COURT HOLIDAYS as follows, viz:-

Further, in relation to Edinburgh Sheriff and Justice of the Peace Court, direct that there will be a sitting for disposal of criminal business on Sunday 3 January 2027, Saturday 27 March 2027, Monday 19 April 2027, Monday 3 May 2027, Monday 24 May 2027, Monday 5 July 2027, Monday 20 September 2027, Monday 29 November 2027 and Monday 27 December 2027 to deal with any person in custody including those who would ordinarily appear at Livingston Sheriff and Justice of the Peace Court.  Those sittings will also deal with any person in custody who would ordinarily appear at Jedburgh and Selkirk Sheriff and Justice of the Peace Courts, with the exception of Monday 24 May 2027.

 

I Appoint this Order to be inserted in the Act Book at Edinburgh and published on the Notice Boards of Edinburgh, Jedburgh, Livingston and Selkirk Sheriff and Justice of the Peace Courts.
