Urgent call for volunteers — have your say on civil online Case Tracker

5th May 2025 Written by: Joshua King

The Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service (SCTS) has issued an urgent call for volunteers to help bolster their online civil Case Tracker.

The SCTS is appealing for solicitors to take part in a user group to provide "valuable feedback and insights" on the platform.

That input could be vital in shaping how the case tracker works in the future.

The deadline for submissions is fast approaching.

Practice specialists in summary cause actions, summary applications including AWI's, Sequestrations and Liquidations would be particularly welcomed.

A spokesperson said: "We are seeking a diverse group of volunteers who can share their perspectives on how the case tracker might work in practice, based on your experience and expectations. We would greatly appreciate your thoughts on its features, usability, and any potential improvements you foresee."

It is understood the session will last around 45 minutes, and the SCTS will coordinate dates and times once a group is formed.

If you are interested in joining the User Group, please contact: civilonlinelab@scotcourts.gov.uk

Deadline for responses is close of business on Wednesday, May 7.
