Digidentity Qualified eSignatures with self-proving status.

Digidentity is a Qualified Trust Service Provider (QTSP) under the eIDAS Regulation, offering Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES).

A QES allows you to digitally sign documents with the full legal standing of a handwritten signature. In Scotland, this includes probative (self-proving) status, as recognised in the Requirements of Writing (Scotland) Act 1995 (RWSA) and the Electronic Documents (Scotland) Regulations 2014.

In Scotland, a QES can be used for:

  • Real property / land transactions
  • Documents for Registers of Scotland
  • Formal documents under RWSA such as:
    • Missives
    • Unilateral obligations for gratuitous obligations
    • Trusts where person declares themselves trustee of Deeds
  • Leases / Housing Act related tenancy agreements
  • Deeds / mixed-format deeds/submitter to Register of Deeds
  • Any document you want to have ‘self-proving’ status in litigation or to avoid challenge

With our virtual smart card, you can sign documents anytime, anywhere using our free signing platform, eSGN.com, or with leading tools such as Adobe Acrobat Sign, Docusign and Legalesign.

Buy a QES direct with the links below:

  • eSignature+ QES – Unlimited signatures for 1 year = €41.00 excl. VAT
  • eSignature QES – 5 signatures = €20.00 excl. VAT
