We are not experts in mental wellbeing. We aim to work with a range of partners including LawCare, NHS Scotland, See Me, SAMH and others to increase our awareness and understanding of wellbeing issues. We want to help our members maintain psychological health at work and to successfully meet the challenges of professional life.

LawCare

LawCare provides a free, independent, and confidential helpline for legal professionals and their families. Practical help and support for those experiencing stress and ill health or facing redundancy as well as information for those returning after a period of maternity or paternity leave.

Change Mental Health

Change Mental Health is a national mental health charity providing non-clinical and person-centred support to people affected by mental illness across communities in Scotland. People are given the support they need, when they need it and in a way which works them. 

SAMH

Scottish Action for Mental Health (SAMH) is Scotland’s national mental health charity.  They operate over 70 services in communities across Scotland, providing mental health social care support, addictions, and employment services.

Helplines and directories

Hub of Hope 

The Hub of Hope is the UK’s leading mental health support database this is a signposting tool, with thousands of local, regional, and national support groups and services listed.

Breathing Space 

Delivered by NHS 24. A free, confidential, phone and webchat service for anyone in Scotland over the age of 16 experiencing low mood, depression, or anxiety.

Samaritans

Confidential support for people experiencing feelings of distress or despair.

Mental Health Foundation Scotland

The Mental Health Foundation takes a public mental health approach to prevention, finding solutions for individuals, those at risk and society to improve everyone's mental wellbeing.
