Event is free

Hosted by our In-house Lawyers Committee, join us for a free online roundtable exclusively for in-house trainees.

We're keen to find out more about your experiences of training in-house, including some of the challenges you may have encountered, and how the Law Society can help to support you further.

What will the session cover?

  • Working in-house: what are your reflections on the in-house environment? Have they matched your preconceptions of what it means to work in-house?
  • Hybrid working and supervision: what are the challenges and/or successes of this?
  • Support and resources: what level of mentorship and guidance are you receiving?
  • Wellbeing: how is your organisation ensuring emotional and mental health is looked after? What could be done better?
  • Looking ahead: what opportunities do you see for developing your legal career?

Who can attend?

The session is open to all trainees working in-house.

How do I register to join?

Please email us at inhouse@lawscot.org.uk and confirm which organisation you work for and what stage of your traineeship you're at. Please note that spaces on the roundtable will be capped and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Connection details will be sent to all participants the day before the event.
