Join us for a fireside chat between three inspirational women. With a focus on the power of celebrating and uplifting women, and threading in the International Women’s Day 2026 (IWD26) theme Give to Gain, and the UN Women's theme for IWD 26 which is Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls, Law Society of Scotland presents a conversation between Brianella Scott (a Scottish Government solicitor), Lynne Kennedy MBE (founder of Business Women Scotland, including the inaugural BWS Women in Law Awards 2026) and Laura Meldrum (Harper Macleod, Women in Law Scotland).

With experience in supportive networks (including Scottish Young Lawyers Association, Women in Law Scotland, Business Women Scotland) and as award-winners, award-organisers, and nominees, our panel bring a wealth of knowledge about the power of uplifting and celebrating women. You can expect open discussion, warmth, challenge, celebration, and success stories as together they dive into our discussion on Celebrating and Empowering Women - Role Models and Awards.
