Dr Aman Durrani
Consultant psychiatrist

About the session

The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted every aspect of our lives, including our work. Many of us face a new reality of working permanently from home or adopting a new hybrid approach to work.

For most, working from home has been a big success. But has missing out on face-to-face interaction with colleagues, meetings in person or simply a chat next to the coffee machine led to isolation and loneliness?

In this session, consultant psychiatrist Dr Aman Durrani will explore the impact loneliness has on our mental health, how we can stay connected with others and discuss why workplaces need to understand the impact loneliness can have and put measures in place to ensure the wellbeing of their staff.

Who can attend?

This session is open to anyone connected to the Scottish legal profession.
