This is a men-only event for Men's Health Week.
We often hear about men’s health through stories of crisis; this session looks at what helps earlier, with simple, practical tools men can actually use.
This session explores the concept of presilience, proactively planning for and mitigating risks before they become a problem. Staying strong and finding peace doesn’t always start with asking for help; it can start with practical, user-friendly routines that fit around your day. Think of it as a few extra lines of code written into the programme ahead of time.
In this session we will:
look at some ‘back-pocket’ skills that can help you quickly reset to a healthy mental baseline when the going gets tough.
talk about how to stay energised through the day by what you eat and drink, and the snacks you keep in the top drawer of your desk.
discuss how we can use the natural environment in small doses to enhance clarity of thought, memory retention, and dopamine levels.
This is going to be an upbeat, solution-focused approach to helping men in the legal profession. No one will be put on the spot, you won’t have to talk about anything you don’t want to, and everything discussed will be kept in the strictest confidence.
