In the sixth of our series of events highlighting the work we do to respond to potential changes in the law, Co-Convener of the Tax Law Sub-Committee, Bob Langridge, and Member of the Tax Law sub-committee, Caroline Colliston, will provide an overview of the recent activity the Law Society of Scotland has undertaken to advocate for solicitors' interests in the context of changes to tax law.
In this one-hour, free to attend session, we will cover:
- The work the Tax Law Sub-Committee has undertaken in the previous 18 months concerning the UK Government’s reforms to tax law.
- The upcoming changes to tax adviser registration coming into force from May 2026.
This session offers a chance for practitioners to hear how the Law Society is helping shape reforms to this important area of law and to share your views to inform this engagement.
