Join us this Pride Month for an interactive and stimulating half-day session to learn more about the LGBTQ+ community.

Delivered by LGBT Health and Wellbeing, a queer‑led charity creating safer, healthier, more connected LGBTQ+ communities across Scotland, the session is designed to be as participative as possible, so attendees should come prepared to think, reflect, share and discuss.

What you’ll learn

  • A little bit of LGBTQ+ history and background around equality – both where we’ve been and where we are today.

  • What identity and visibility means to us all, including intersectionality, inclusive language and more.

  • About the mental health and wellbeing of the queer community.

  • What LGBT Health and Wellbeing offers to help LGBTQ+ people and their family, friends and allies on their journey.

  • The ‘big little things’ you can do to help, as an active ally.

Who should attend?

Everyone across the legal profession is welcome and encouraged to attend, whether as an ally or as a member of the queer community.
