This session is designed to raise awareness of anxiety, its common forms in the workplace and how to have open, supportive conversations with colleagues. It builds on the understanding that anxiety is one of the most prevalent mental health challenges in the workplace and aims to equip employees with the knowledge and tools to recognise and respond to it effectively.

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  • Understand what anxiety is, how it manifests in the workplace, and effectively challenge the stigma surrounding it.
  • Recognise the signs and symptoms of anxiety in themselves and others, knowing when these may require support.
  • Set and manage healthy boundaries that reduce anxiety triggers, knowing when and how to signpost appropriately.
  • Prioritise their own mental wellbeing and understand that managing their own anxiety is essential before supporting others.
  • Apply practical techniques to manage anxiety
