Each year, we hold a week long summer school programme online where students who are interested in studying law can take part and ask questions about legal careers. Students will hear about the route to qualifying as a solicitor in Scotland, hear from qualified solicitors and take part in a legal skills challenge.
For 2026, the programme will be held on the following dates:
- Monday 8 June
- Tuesday 9 June
- Thursday 18 June
- Friday 19 June
This programme is available for S4-S6 secondary school and college pupils who are interested in learning more about law in Scotland. We also welcome attendance from LLB students. The first day (Monday 8 June) is specifically targeted at school and college students wanting to apply for the LLB at university. The following days (Tues 9 June, Thurs 18 June and Fri 19 June) will be suitable for all students.
The Careers and Outreach team look forward to meeting you at the Summer School and if you have any specific questions please get in touch with [email protected]
