As part of our work to develop and improve our processes for members and ensure we have a robust and efficient regulatory structure, we are updating both the content and format of our Accounts Certificate.
We are piloting the revised content Accounts Certificate in paper format with members whose certificates are due imminently and with a view to moving the process online. We have contacted the cashroom partner at each of the firms included in the pilot to advise of the change.
The key changes in terms of content are:
• Removal of questions relating to anti-money laundering as these are now covered by the AML Certificate process
• Addition of new questions which will enable us to monitor the financial health of practice units and tailor our information and support more effectively.
