Fancy becoming one of our student bloggers?

20th January 2016 | New lawyers

Are you a current LLB or Diploma student? Have you thought about blogging but aren’t sure where to start?

And most importantly, do you think you could offer insights to others on topics such as interviews, work placements or final exams?

If so, we're looking for volunteer student bloggers for our website. The blog will form part of the content we offer to those thinking about studying law and will be updated every month. We’re looking for one blogger from each LLB and Diploma providing university.

The blog's purpose will be give information and insights to students who may be at school and wondering if law might be the right choice for them. It will also be aimed at those early in the LLB, offering a first-hand look on the experiences of starting at university, volunteering/work experience, applying for traineeships and taking part in summer placement programmes.

No blogging/writing experience is necessary as guidance will be provided on the writing process and we’ll help edit any content.

If any of you feel you could write about your experiences in these areas, please contact lauragulliver@lawscot.org.uk

For an idea of the format the blog would take, the approximate length, and what it may look like, you take a look at out existing Newly Qualified and Trainee blogs.
