  4. Law Society staff build bottle greenhouse
26th September 2016 | Law Society news

Law Society of Scotland staff got stuck in at the Gilmerton Child and Family Centre last week, building a bottle greenhouse for local children with the help of Bedrock, a charity dedicated to helping Early Years services across Scotland.

Five Law Society employees spent their Bedrock ‘Making a Difference Day’ sawing, drilling, digging, and hammering to put together the greenhouse which was made using recycled materials including plastic bottles donated by Highland Spring.

As part of the Law Society’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, staff have contributed over 300 hours to charity work this year.

To find out more about Bedrock, visit their website: http://www.bedrockcharity.org/

Law Society of Scotland staff are entitled to donate one working day each year to a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative.

For further information about the Society CSR policy and initiatives please see the website: /members/member-services/professional-support-for-members/corporate-social-responsibility/
