Ashurst to host SEMLA education event

20th March 2018

SEMLA, the Scottish Ethnic Minorities Lawyers' Association, is joining with Ashurst Glasgow to put on an education and networking event focusing on the changing legal services market.

Mike Polson, Glasgow managing partner and co-head of innovation for the firm, will share his thoughts on the changing law model and how developments in legal tech are having a significant impact on the way legal services are provided. The evening will provide an opportunity to meet members of the Ashurst Advance team who are pursuing alternative careers in law, as well as seeing demos of legal tech in action.

The event takes place in Ashurst's Glasgow office, Central Exchange, 20 Waterloo Street, Glasgow G2 6DB on Wednesday 28 March 2018, from 5.30 (for 6)-8pm. A presentation and question session will be followed by legal tech demos and then networking with drinks and canapés.

Those intending to come are asked to complete the details in the Events section of the SEMLA website (www.semla.org.uk/events) no later than Monday 26 March.
