ASNTS transfers to First-tier Education Chamber from today

The First-tier Tribunal for Scotland takes on two additional dispuyte resolution functions from today, 12 January 2018.

The Additional Support Needs Tribunals for Scotland (ASNTS) will transfer into the Health & Education Chamber of the Tribunal. May Dunsmuir, the current President of ASNTS, will become President of this new Chamber.

In addition, the Scottish Charity Appeals Panel will transfer into the General Regulatory Chamber of the First-tier Tribunal.

Telephone numbers for the Health & Education Chamber have not changed. The administration of the Chamber can be contacted on 0141 302 5860. The email address will change to ASNTribunal@scotcourtstribunals.gov.uk.

The website address will be www.healthandeducationchamber.scot.

Similarly, telephone numbers for the General Regulatory Chamber have not changed. For charity appeals enquiries, contact the Chamber on 0131 271 4340. The email address will change to charityappeals@scotcourtstribunals.gov.uk. The website address for the Chamber will be www.generalregulatorychamber.scot.

Spring move

There will be a relocation of SCTS tribunals administration and judiciary from 1 Atlantic Quay, Glasgow to the new Glasgow Tribunals Centre at 3 Atlantic Quay in spring 2018. The centre will also house HMCTS tribunals facilities currently located at Wellington House, Glasgow, creating a new dedicated Tribunals Centre.
