Associate hire for Shoosmiths' Access Legal

Access Legal, the private client arm of law firm Shoosmiths, has expanded its medical negligence team in its Edinburgh office with the hire of senior associate Judy Williamson.

Ms Williamson, who joins from Anderson Strathern, Judy represents claimants and is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in medical negligence. She has a broad range of litigation experience, including regularly appearances at fatal accident inquiries.

Phil Barnes, the partner heading the UK medical negligence team, said: "We are pleased to welcome Judy to the team. She brings with her a wealth of experience in medical negligence and a proven track history of successfully representing clients in a number of high profile cases.
