Change at the top at GSPC as Hordern leaves

13th May 2015 | careers

Mark Hordern, chief executive of Glasgow Solicitors Property Centre for the last four years, has resigned, GSPC announced today.

He is to take up the post of chief executive at GSPC member firm Pacitti Jones, after 20 years at GSPC in roles that have included marketing and latterly leading the business as CEO.

GSPC's directors have appointed Pamela Ross as chief executive in his place. She has been with GSPC for 13 years and currently oversees its financial management and corporate governance.

Thanking Mr Hordern for his service, GSPC said in a statement: "He has been part of the company’s development from its early days to the current world of internet, website, e-communication and online property portals. His expertise and dedication to the interests of GSPC and its member firms are recognised, and we thank him."

It added that "a seamless transition in management and development is in place", and the new team would "hit the ground running in their determination to grow and develop the business" for its 147 member firms.
