Construction partner appointment for DWF

13th February 2015 | careers

National legal firm DWF has appointed Ben Powell as a partner in its construction, infrastructure and projects team in Edinburgh.

Mr Powell, a project finance lawyer specialising in large infrastructure projects, worked most recently at Tods Murray, where he was a partner in the capital projects team and head of the renewable energy practice. He brings extensive experience in both the Scottish and UK national markets, having also worked for Dundas & Wilson, McGrigors and Hammonds in a wide range of sectors, including transport, healthcare and education. He also has significant expertise in the renewables sector.

Neil Amner, head of the team in Scotland, commented: “Ben’s recruitment into the team will complete DWF’s offering in the infrastructure market and allow us to deepen our relationship with key clients in this area. The firm’s strong presence in key regions allows the national team to service clients who are working on projects in any part of the UK, and Ben’s experience and impressive sector knowledge will be of huge benefit to the development of our practice both in Scotland and nationally.”
